High pressure pump mechanical seal employs a balanced welded bellows configuration and is made to withstand pressures of 27 bar with a maximum surface speed of 23m/s. The self-cleaning ability of the welded metal bellows design makes it very reliable for pumps that will handle crystallising media, also very high speed pumps, as well as thermal oil systems and chemical process applications where a stable long-term sealing solution is a must have.

Yes. Metric sizes ≥110 mm or ≥150 mm (depending on the series) can be manufactured according to a specific pump's requirements.

How can I prevent bellows from fatigue and failure?

Minimize thermal shock to the bellows. Keep the temperature within the design range. Periodically inspect for leakage, wear, and condition of bellows.
