Application Scenarios

Thermal Fluid Systems:

Used primarily in the hot oil or molten salts used in circulating pump applications. The multi-layer bellows design mitigates thermal expansion/contraction of the bellows material after being heated and cooled. Bellows structure creates an effective barrier to prevent leaks and downtime.

Chemical Processing:

Because of the strong acids/strong alkalis used to manufacture chemicals and pharmaceutical products, welded bellows are often installed on chemical reactors, pharmaceutical equipment, and electroplating pumps. They are engineered to provide safe, stable handling capabilities.

High-Speed Machinery:

Turbo compressors and centrifugal pumps that operate at high speeds utilize this type of bellows design. Dynamic balance design minimizes vibrations in these machines, which reduces wear and tear, thereby maintaining peak operating efficiency.

Solid Deposits and Crystals from Industrial Processes:

Several industrial processes, including the crystallization of salt and the manufacturing of fertilizers, produce solid materials. These materials can obstruct the seals used to contain the liquids, thus compromising seal integrity. Welded metal bellows have been successfully used to prevent these solid particles from entering the seals to provide long-term reliability.
